Procedure

  1. Peel the tape that secures the battery cable to the system board.
  2. Peel the tape that secures the battery cable connection to the system board.
  3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.

  4. Remove the four screws (M2x3) that secure the battery to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
  5. Lift the battery off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

  6. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to ground the computer and drain the flea power.
