Introduction

Dell ThinOS 10.x is a secure, deployment-ready operating system that is designed to enable thin client device functionality on endpoints that meet minimal resource requirements. It provides integrated connectivity to widely used VDI environments and includes advanced features for unified communications optimization, authentication, and device monitoring.

ThinOS 10.x can be installed and licensed by customers using Wyse Management Suite Pro on any compatible endpoint, or it can be preinstalled and licensed as a factory-installed operating system on specific Dell endpoints.

You can use the ThinOS 10.x Compatibility Checker, included in the standard USB installation image to validate endpoint devices. It confirms compatibility for devices that are tested and certified by Dell. For devices that are not certified, the ThinOS 10.x Compatibility Checker performs a diagnostic check to ensure that minimum resource and component requirements are met. If a device passes the diagnostic check, it is recommended that you validate it within your environment before production deployment.
