Dell Lifecycle Controller Remote Services v2.30.30.30 Quick Start Guide

The new features supported in this release are:

• Firmware updates for out-of-band SATA hard drives
• Firmware update support for PERC 9.3 controller
• Firmware updates support for HBA 330 mini adapter
• Firmware update support for the ConnectX-4 Lx Dual Port 25 GbE DA/SFP rNDC
• Enhanced and flexible back plane zoning or split modes for Dell PowerEdge R730xd. Backplanes can be splitted into 4–20, 8–16, 16–8, 20–4
• Firmware update support for the following PCI SSD cards:
  • Dell Express Flash NVMe PM1725 800 GB PCIe SSD Controller
  • Dell Express Flash NVMe PM1725 1.6 TB PCIe SSD Controller
  • Dell Express Flash NVMe PM1725 3.2 TB PCIe SSD Controller
  • Dell Express Flash NVMe PM1725 1.6 TB PCIe SSD Adapter by Samsung
  • Dell Express Flash NVMe PM1725 3.2 TB PCIe SSD Adapter by Samsung
  • Dell Express Flash NVMe PM1725 6.4 TB PCIe SSD Adapter by Samsung
• Renamed Tech Support Report to SupportAssist Collection
• Lifecycle Controller version 2.30.30.30 on a 13 ^th generation of Dell PowerEdge server with iDRAC8 and a 12 ^th generation PowerEdge server with iDRAC7
  • Upgrade directly to Lifecycle Controller version 2.30.30.30 from LC 2. xx. xx. xx or 1. xx. xx
    • NOTE: You cannot downgrade to version 1. xx. xx on a 13 ^th generation of Dell PowerEdge server. On a Dell 12 ^th generation of Dell PowerEdge server, you can downgrade to 1. xx. xx version. However, you must downgrade iDRAC before downgrading Lifecycle Controller.
