Procedure
- Slide the I/O board at an angle and then align the screw holes on the I/O board with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.
- Adhere the tape that secures the I/O board.
- Align the screw hole on the display cable with the screw hole on the I/O board.
- Replace the two screws (M1.6x3) that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest assembly.
- Slide the I/O-board cable into the I/O board and close the latch to secure the cable.
- Slide the fingerprint-reader cable (optional) into the I/O board and close the latch to secure the cable.
- Connect the media-card reader cable to the connector on the I/O board.
- Adhere the tape that secures the display cable to the I/O board.
