Procedure

  1. Disconnect the DC power cables from the system board, hard drives, and optical drives. For more information, see “ System-board components”.
  2. Remove the screws that secure the power-supply unit to the chassis.
  3. While pressing and holding the power-supply clamps, slide the power-supply unit to release the power-supply unit from the power-supply clamps.
  4. Lift the power-supply unit off the chassis.
