Removing the WWAN card

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery
    2. hard drive
    3. optical drive
    4. base cover
  3. To remove the WWAN card:
    1. Disconnect the cables from the WWAN card [1].
    2. Remove the screw that secures the WWAN card [2].
    3. Slide and lift the WWAN card away from the slot [3].
