Removing the display panel

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. WWAN card

    4. WLAN card

    5. hinge cap

    6. display assembly

    7. display bezel

  3. Remove the M2.0x3.0 screws that secure the display panel to the display assembly [1] and lift to turn over the display panel to access the eDP cable [2]. Removing the screws display panel that secure
  4. To remove the display panel:
    1. Peel off the adhesive tape [1].
    2. Lift the blue tape that secures the display cable [2].
    3. Lift the latch and disconnect the display cable from the connector on the display panel [3] [4].
