Removing hard drive assembly

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

  3. To remove the hard drive assembly:
    1. Disconnect the hard drive cable from the connector on the system board.
    2. Remove the screws that secure the hard drive assembly to the computer.
      • OPOMBA: The image displayed above is for reference only. Some components location may vary.
    3. Lift the hard drive assembly away from the computer.
    • OPOMBA: 7mm SATA drive requires a 68 W hr battery
