SCv3000 and SCv3020 Storage System Deployment Guide
Add the SCv360 Expansion Enclosures to the A-Side of the Chain
Connect the expansion enclosures to one side of the chain at a time to maintain drive availability.
Steps
- Cable the expansion enclosures to
the A-side of the chain.
- Connect a SAS cable from storage controller 1: port 1 to the first expansion enclosure in the chain, left EMM, port 1.
- Connect a SAS cable from storage controller 2: port 2 to the last expansion enclosure in the chain, left EMM, port 3.
