Removing the hard drive assembly

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
  3. Open the front bezel door.
  4. To remove the hard drive assembly:
    1. Disconnect the hard drive assembly cables from the connectors on the hard drive [1, 2].
    2. Press the blue tabs on both sides [3] and pull the hard drive assembly out of the computer [4].
