Configuring additional settings for IPMI serial terminal mode using web interface
To set the
Terminal Mode settings:
- In the iDRAC Web interface, go to .
The Serial page is displayed.
- Enable IPMI serial.
- Click Terminal Mode Settings.
The Terminal Mode Settings page is displayed.
- Specify the following values:
- Line editing
- Delete control
- Echo Control
- Handshaking control
- New line sequence
- Input new line sequences

- Click Apply.
The terminal mode settings are configured.
- Make sure that the serial MUX (external serial connector) is set correctly to the remote access device in the BIOS Setup program to configure BIOS for serial connection.
