Removing the PCIe Card Retention

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. left cover

    2. PCIe cards

  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Unthread the cable from the latch [1].
    2. Press and slide the latch out to release the PCIe card retention [2].
    3. Lift and remove the PCIe card retention out of the computer [3].
