Data Types

The following are the types of data that can be specified in a command run in the Storage Center Command Utility.

Data Type	Description
true \| false	Specifies a Boolean value. Most Boolean options accept both true or false and 1 or 0 as valid entries.
filename	Specifies a filename. Filenames that contain the space character must be enclosed by single quote marks. For example: `–file ‘my output file’`
integer	Specifies a whole number.
string	Specifies any alphanumeric characters. Strings that contain the spaces must be enclosed by single quote marks. For example: `–name ‘replay of volume33’`
