Removing the LED board

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. hard drive assembly or M.2 SSD or PCIe SSD
    4. WLAN card

    5. WWAN card

    6. dock frame

  3. To remove the LED board:
    1. Disconnect the LED board cable from the connector on the LED board [1, 2].
    2. Remove the screw that secures the LED board to the computer [3].
