How to replace the SSD 2230 on a Dell Tower Plus EBT2250

This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the SSD 2230 and a Dell Tower Plus EBT2250. The procedure will also include removing the Left side cover and reinstalling them.

Removal

Left side cover

Identify the left side cover highlighted in blue.

Loosen the captive screw that secures the left side cover latch to the chassis.

Pull on the left side cover latch to release the left side cover from the chassis.

Remove and lift the left side cover from the chassis.

Install

Left side cover

Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.

Slide the bottom edge of the left side cover into the chassis.

Push the left side cover into place.

Tighten the captive screw that secures the left side cover latch to the chassis.
