Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.
Slide and lift the side cover from the chassis.
Processor Fan
Identify the processor fan highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the processor fan cable from the system board.
Press the release tab on the processor fan and remove it from the heat sink assembly.
Install
Processor Fan
Identify the processor fan location highlighted in blue.
Place the processor fan on the heat sink assembly and press it down until it clicks into place.
Connect the processor fan cable to the system board.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Slide and install the side cover onto the chassis.
Tighten the screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.
