How to replace the Graphics Card on a Dell ProMaxSlim FCS1250

This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Graphics Card and a Dell ProMaxSlim FCS1250. The procedure will also include removing the Side Cover and reinstalling them.

Removal

Side Cover

Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.

Loosen the screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.

Slide and lift the side cover from the chassis.

Graphics Card

Identify the graphics card highlighted in blue.

Open the PCIe latch that secures the graphics card.

Push the tab that secures the graphics card to the system board.

Lift the graphics card from the system board.

Install

Graphics Card

Identify the graphics card location highlighted in blue.

Using the alignment post, insert the graphics card into the connector and press it down firmly.

Close the PCIe latch to secure the graphics card.

Side Cover

Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.

Slide and install the side cover onto the chassis.

Tighten the screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.
