Removal
Base Cover
Identify the base cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the cover to the system.
Slide the cover toward the back and lift to remove from the system
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel highlighted in blue.
Lift the tabs to release the bezel from the system.
Slightly lift the front of the system to release the bezel from system.
Hard Drive
Identify the hard disk drive (HDD) module highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the data and power cables from the HDD.
Pull to remove the metal hard drive filler on the front of the system.
Press the release latch down to release hard drive module.
Slide the hard drive assembly out of the system.
Pull the two release tabs at one side of the bracket to disengage the pins and lift it from the bracket.
Install
Hard Drive
Identify the hard disk drive (HDD) location highlighted in blue.
Pull the two release tabs at one side of the bracket to insert the pins into the HDD and seat it into bracket.
Slide the hard drive assembly into the slot on the system until it clicks into place.
Install metal hard drive filler into the front of the system. Push until it clicks into place.
Connect the data and power cables to the HDD.
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel location highlighted in blue
Align the tab holders on the system and push the bezel until the tabs click into place.
Base Cover
Identify the base cover location highlighted in blue.
Place the cover on the system and slide the cover until it clicks into place.
Tighten the captive screws to secure the cover to the system.
