How to replace the Power supply unit on a Poweredge R960

This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Power supply unit and a Poweredge R960.

Removal

Power supply unit

Select the power supply unit (PSU) you want to replace.

Disconnect the power cable from the PSU that you intend to remove.

Press the release latch and holding the PSU handle, slide the PSU out of the bay.

Install

Power supply unit

Confirm the power supply unit (PSU) you want to replace.

Slide the PSU into the PSU bay until the release latch snaps into place.

Connect the power cable to the PSU that you intend to remove.
