This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Solid state drive (SSD) 2230 and a Latitude 7450. The procedure will also include removing the Base Cover, Solid state drive (SSD) and reinstalling them.
Removal
Base Cover
Identify the base cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the base cover.
Pry the base cover near the hinges. Pry from recess points near the hinges.
Loosen the base covery by working on the left, right and, bottom sides to open the base cover.
Lift to remove the base cover.

Identify the base cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the base cover tabs to the slots, press the cover until it clicks into place.
Tighten the captive screws that secure the base cover to the system.
