Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the thumb screw that secures the side cover to the chassis.
Slide and lift the side cover off the chassis.
Optional I/O module
Identify the optional I/O module highlighted in blue.
Remove the screws that secure the I/O module to the system.
Slide the optional I/O module from the system, do not remove it completely.
Lift and hold the optional I/O module and disconnect the cable from the connector on the system board.
Remove the optional I/O module from the computer.
Install
Optional I/O module
Identify the optional I/O module position highlighted in blue.
Place and align the optional I/O module near the system.
Connect the I/O cable to the connector on the system board and align the optional I/O module on the system.
Insert the optional I/O module into its slot from the inside of your computer.
Install the screws that seure the I/O module to the system.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Slide the side cover into place towards the front of the computer
Tighten the thumb screw that secure the side cover to the chassis.
