How to replace the WLAN Card on a DellPro14Plus PB14250 U Series

This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the WLAN Card and a DellPro14Plus PB14250 Useries (1). The procedure will also include removing the Base Cover and reinstalling them.

Removal

Base Cover

Identify the base cover highlighted in blue.

Loosen the captive screws that secure the base cover to the palm rest assembly.

Pry open the base cover from the recesses that are located in the U shaped indents at the top edge of the base cover near the hinges.

Lift the base cover off the palm rest assembly.

Base Cover

Identify the base cover location highlighted in blue.

Align and place the base cover on the palm rest assembly and snap it into place.

Tighten the captive screws that secure the base cover to the palm rest assembly.
