Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.
Slide and lift the side cover off the chassis.
Hard Drive 2.5 inch
Identify the hard drive highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the data and power cables from the hard drive.
Press the tab on the carrier and lift at an angle to free the hard drive assembly from the drive cage.
Slide and lift the hard drive assembly from the system.
Gently pry and release the mounting point tabs on the hard drive carrier.
Lift at an angle and slide the hard drive from the carrier.
Install
Hard Drive 2.5 inch
Identify the hard drive location highlighted in blue.
Align the hard drive with the mounting points on the bracket and place the hard drive onto it.
Slide to open the mounting point tabs on the hard drive carrier.
Snap the hard drive into the hard drive carrier.
Slide the hard drive assembly to slots on the chassis and snap the hard drive assembly into the drive cage.
Connect the data and power cables to their connectors on the hard drive.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Place and slide the side cover towards the front of the chassis.
Tighten the captive screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.
