Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.
Slide and lift the side cover off the chassis.
Hard Drive 3.5 inch
Identify the hard drive highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the data and power cables from the hard drive.
Remove the screws that secure the hard drive carrier to the drive cage.
Lift at an angle and slide the hard drive assembly away from the chassis.
Flip to rotate the HDD assembly.
Remove the screws that secure the hard drive to the carrier.
Slide and remove the hard drive from the carrier.
Install
Hard Drive 3.5 inch
Identify the hard drive location highlighted in blue.
Slide the hard drive into the carrier.
Install the screws that secure the hard drive to the carrier.
Flip to rotate the HDD assembly.
Slide the hard drive assembly to slots on the chassis and snap the hard drive assembly into the drive cage.
Install the screws to secure the hard drive carrier to the drive cage.
Connect the data and power cables to their connectors on the hard drive.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Place and slide the side cover towards the front of the chassis.
Tighten the captive screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.
