Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the thumb screw that secures the side cover to the system.
Slide and lift the side cover off the system.
Hard Drive
Identify the hard drive highlighted in blue.
Press the release tabs on the hard drive assembly and slide it towards the front of the system.
Lift the hard drive assembly from the system.
Flip the hard drive assembly so that the hard drive faces the top.
Pry the hard drive bracket to release the tabs on the bracket from the slots on the hard drive.
Lift the hard drive off the hard drive bracket.
Install
Hard Drive
Identify the hard drive location highlighted in blue.
Install the hard drive into the hard drive bracket and align the tabs on the carrier with the slots on the hard drive.
Snap the hard drive carrier onto the hard drive.
Flip the hard drive assembly so that the hard drive faces the system.
Place the hard drive assembly into the slot on the system.
Slide the hard drive assembly towards the connector in the system board until the release tabs click into place.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Place and slide the side cover towards the back of the system.
Tighten the thumb screw that secures the side cover to the system.
