Dell G5 15 - 5590 35 min battery life
Hi guys, I bought this dell in April 2019 and it's the version with "7-8750H and RTX 2060 with 6GB GDDR6 graphics memory. the pc is excellent.
The problem is that the battery lasts about 35 minutes.
and this is not possible for a 3 years old 1400 dollar pc.
How can i solve it?

Batteries last only about 1-2 years now. You need to buy a new battery from Dell. See all info here-

You should be able use the laptop without the battery and using just the adapter alone.

Hi! I have used my G5 5590 mostly plugged-in and Dell Power Manger set to "Primarily AC Use". According to that app my Battery Health is "Excellent" and according to HWiNFO my wear level is 13.8 %. It's a 60WHr battery and still lasts me 4+ hrs.

Download battery bar and check how much battery wear you have and whether the battery whr matches what you purchased.

I have the same issue still. Sometimes reinstalization or manual integration of the newest version of Nvidia drivers helps.

I realized now that when i plug in external drive via usb-c i get only 25min battery life even if i have more than 50% of the battery.
Dell seems to be the company with the worst support unfortunately
