Dell inspiron 16 plus 7610 top grill vent slightly bent.
Greetings!
I have owned an Dell inspiron 7610 plus for 2-3 months now. Its seems that my top vent is bent a bit and is now slightly round, the laptop closes fine, but should I be concerned. I think the laptop vent might be like this cause of strong heat over big periods. I use it mainly for gaming.

It doesn't look as bad as you describe. I am sure Dell will say it's within spec. Anyways, my hinges sit lower on both sides. There seems to be a lot of flex though, when I apply pressure on both inside parts of the hinges, I can flex the chassis to the point where both hinges are above the vents. I wouldn't be concerned about it.

Do you have a pic of the issue? I know the bottom cover is very flimsy and if put in a backpack with enough pressure on it, the cover can pop out of it's tab and part of it be "popped up".. a little pressure and it will snap back into place.

Don’t know if you can see it but there is a slight curvature now, and the hinges are now under the vents a bit

Thanks! At lest I have a warranty for it so I should be fine right now.
