Very High CPU power usage Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless Zero Configure Service
I have an Inspiron 17, 5758
Similar to a few other people on the discussion of the Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless Zero Configure Service, my Dell laptop is running at a "very high" CPU power usage percentage. Yes, the cooling fan constantly runs. No, turning the laptop off does not reset the laptop. When I turn the laptop back on, the cooling fan continues to run incessantly and this Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless Zero Configure Service remains "very high" on CPU power usage. What is going on and what do I need to do to stop the very high power usage? If drivers need to be installed, tell me which ones and how to do that. Thanks!!

Attempt a clean Boot.
Open Run > MSCONFIG > Services : check the box "Hide all the microsoft services" and choose disable all. Reboot.
if the fan works fine, than start enabling the services 4-5 at a time. You will find your culprit.
