Dell Inspirion 15r 5520 Heating problems
My Dell inspiron 5520 has been heating up way too much and i dont know what to do. I've confirmed that there is no dust clogged up and i always keep my laptop on the hard wood table. I downloaded a program called speedfan, it showed my core temp at 55(degree celcius) when idle, 70(degrees celcius) when streaming or surfing the net and 90 (degrees celcius) when gaming. It gets so hot to the point of the laptop shutting down.
The laptop is just 6 months old and i still have my warranty, but i think the warranty is void since i was dumb and had a friend of mine dissemble it as he thought that there might have been dust clogging the vents but there werent any. Can some on please help me on this matter.

Hi Imdani,
Refer the following link to troubleshoot overheating issues on the computer:
http://dell.to/11e1k6j
Also, update BIOS on the computer from the below link:
http://dell.to/15mbmnq
Note: Plug your computer to a good, working walljack before you update the BIOS. If you experience a loss of AC power or a significant voltage sag/spike during the BIOS flash, you will either have to buy a new BIOS chip or buy a new motherboard.
Awaiting your response!

I have tried everything suggested by the link. I have already upgraded my BIOS from A6 to A13 but the heating problem still persists. Like i said before i have checked the vents and there were absolutly no dust clogged up, I never use my laptop on a soft surface and i also ran the hardware diagnostic test (this is my diagnostic id:-DW9PDS105072013172600) and passed all the tests, there were no problems. I am absolutly sure that there is no virus or malware because i have also tired formating the hard drive.
I have googled and checked every possible cause for heating and have tried every solution to it. The only problem left that i could think of is that the fan might need changing (although i dont think so since it is always spinning and working) or the heat sink might need some thermal gel.
Also can you please tell me whether my warranty is void or not? Since i had someone dissemble the laptop (this was done to clean the vents but there werent any dust or hair and everything was put back to normal).

Hi Imdani,
Check if the computer over heats in Safemode with networking. Restart the computer and tap F8 on Dell logo and select Safemode with networking.
If the issue persists, Kindly private message the service tag so that I can take the case forward.
