Dell Inspiron 15 Screen Power setting keeps resetting to 15 minutes
I have a Dell Inspiron 15. After 15 minutes of use the screen powers down. I go to settings and change the power settings to never. The issue is when I turn off the computer it resets back to 15 minutes. Is there some setting I'm missing.

What is the exact system model? What is the current OS installed on the system?
If the system was working fine earlier, then perform a system restore to restore the machine to an earlier point where it was working fine - http://bit.ly/1JEw2ov

Enable the built in admin account and check - http://bit.ly/1JoFhcw
Go to Power Options - change plan settings - change advanced power settings - display - change display timer - apply and ok - restart and check.
If the issue is the same, then Update the BIOS - http://dell.to/1n3X2po - enter the service tag and download the BIOS, update and restart the machine and check. Also, reinstall the video drivers from the support site or the vendor site and check.
