Inspiron 15R getting overheated

my inspiron 15R 5520 gets shut down due to over heating while playing high graphics games and when I run ePSA i get this error code 2000-0314.I captured a snap of display with my mobile to show the exact error.

The same game worked well a few days back so its probably not with the game. Also the laptop keeps heating too much even when I play HD videos.

Should I use a a cooling pad? or Wait for Dell engineer to check my laptop for errors?

Should I use a single fan or double fan cooling pad?
