SupportAssist and DellSysyemDetect shuts down the laptop
Hi, I have a vostro 1440 laptop which lately started shutting down without any visible reason. After checking system logs I assumed there might be some problems with the hardware and tried to run DellSysyemDetect several times - each time the laptop shotly turned off. The same happened when I tried to launch the SupportAssist.
Does anybody has an idea what might be the reason for this?

I'd suggest you run the diagnostic tool to check hardware on the system by following the steps below:
1. Power off system
2. Power on system, quickly tap the F12 key continuously until you see Preparing one time boot menu in the top right corner of the screen. In the boot menu, stroll down to Diagnostic and then click it. After quick tests, click on Hard Drive, and then Thorough Test Mode. Do the same for Memory as well. Report back any error code.

Thanks a lot! All test have passed, so I guess I'll try to find out what's the problem with the software...
