Tablet stuck in boot loop
I have a Dell Venue 10 5055 tablet.
I have had windows 10 on it since I got the tablet and never had any issues until today. A couple months back I reset it and it worked just fine. I reset it this morning only to find it in a boot loop where it shows the dell logo, then flashes an error and restarts. The error is "rebooting system to make tpm2 settings in effect"
I have tried to plug it in, unplug. I even tried to press the volume up which highlights F12 boot menu, it displays the same error and reboots. I tried going into bios with the same issue. I tried to hold the volume up and volume down to go into recovery mode and it displays a loading bar. After a few seconds it flashes the error and reboots. Not sure how it reset just fine a few months ago until this morning when my warranty expired recently. I tried contacting support and they said it would be $150 to get it sent to them so they can fix it. For $130 I can buy a used one online. Had I known I'd get this issue I wouldn't have reset it. Not sure why and what the cause might be.

Note to anyone viewing this thread.
The poster has another thread about this issue, on the Mobile Devices board, which is a better place for the discussion rather than here on the Laptop Audio board.

Thanks. Didn't realize I selected the wrong category. Any way to delete this post?

It's okay. This forum is confusing to try to navigate.
No way to delete a thread.
