Win7 question

I've never owned an alienware but fancy one as I'd be looking at either the 17 or 18.

Question is, if it comes with Win10 and I want to put Win7 64bit on it, whats the best/easiest way?   I'm not very techy when it comes to this sort of thing.  Incase I need to put the original Windows on, would it be better to swap out the drives?

Cheers

Unless you absolutely have no other choice, install Classic Shell atop Windows 10 and it'll give you all the 7 interface features you want, for far less trouble.

Otherwise - yes, either image the existing drive or install another ones for 7 so you can easily swap back.

Some things you will lose by downgrading:

Hours if not days of your life doing security updates.

NVMe support.

Support for energy management in Skylake CPUs

(among other things).
