how to revert fn keys on inspiron 15 5558

Hi

Remove the battery and charge, do a power cycle and try to go into bios. 

Or else, go to f12 menu and select the option setup.

DELL-HEMA, Your response to the original problem is not clear. 

How do you enter into the BIOS screen ? 

After entering the BIOS Screen, what is to be done ? 

Please be crystal clear in your responses. 

You can enter BIOS by tapping the F2 key while booting the os.

BUT there is no option to change the function of the F keys!!!!

Can someone please help how to change the function of the F keys on Inspiron 5558 Windows8.1 ??

I am searching the net for 2 days and cannot find solution.

As I said in my BIOS there is only GENERAL options and no ADVANCED options in BIOS,

EMMART is correct! i have a Dell Inspiron 5558 windows 10 laptop as well and for the past few months i have found no way to correct this! I am a regular gamer and the F1-12 keys are Vital to playing games without having to fumble for the Fn key! whats happening Dell? you guys are slipping over there or something? and the "Tech help guy" did nothing but try and confuse the poor people here looking for answers!

I was looking for the same option, and found it in mobility center, not in BIOS setup.

sorry but on my windows 10 Dell inspiron 15 5558 there is no Customised by Dell Inc. second part its only..... so you can see where Dell Fails here.......

I am unable to swap the function and multimedia keys by pressing fn+ESC key. 

Is there another way ?
