SX2240T, Touch on Windows RT?
Can anyone advise on getting touch functionality of an SX2240T to work with Windows RT?
I have a Microsoft Surface RT 8.1 (ARM/Tegra chip) connected to an SX2240T. The video and USB hub both work fine, but no touch input, and no webcam.
If there are OS setting to adjust I have not found it yet. Dell's drivers and apps are for Windows not RT.
Any suggestions?
eg Can or how can a Dell XPS 10 Windows RT tablet, with its keyboard connected to provide micro-HDMI and USB connections, drive a Dell SX2240T monitor, including the monitor's touch functionality, and webcam? The issues should be the same for Dell XPS 10 RT and Surface RT.

Using our stand alone monitors, Touch is not supported on Windows RT. Are you saying that you have seen examples of customers with the XPS 10 who were able to use Touch on our stand alone monitors?

Thank you for replying Chris, much appreciated. The monitor is of course model SX2210T (not SX2240T). My typo.
I expected Dell would have built its RT tablet, designed and built with a touch interface, and with HDMI and USB outputs for external monitors, would work fully and effectively with Dell touch monitors. But I also expected Microsoft would do some work on RT drivers.
I have read on Microsoft community pages of RT driving touch on an HP monitor, but I am sceptical.
No, I have not seen an XPS 10 running touch, just observing that Dell had its own RT tablet and hoping, expecting, that Dell would have made it able to drive Dell touch screens. And then hoping this would hold the solution to my problem with my Dell monitor and Microsoft Surface RT.
Looks like my only solution is to get a Win 7 or Win 8.1 PC that can install the only available Dell drivers for the SX2210T
