UP2414Q monitor issues not waking up as secondary monitor on DP cable

Hi had the UP2414Q monitor for few days, and ive noticed that it does not always wake up on reboot?

it is set up as my secondary monitor paired with another 24inch ultrasharp as my main.

i was wondering if this is a displayport issue?

I prefer to keep the 4k monitor with displayport so i can run at 60hz, as other dvi/hdmi can only drive  up2414q @ 30hz

also there is something rattling inside lol.

i7-3770k

gtx 760

msi gd80

win7

ill probably send it back for replacement but was thinking is this normal for displayport the not waking issue?

I would turn both monitors and the computer off. Remove the other monitor from the setup. Test only the computer and the UP2414Q using the Dell provided mDP to DP cable and the Dell USB 3.0 Upstream cable. Once setup this way, do some boot testing. Does it ever fail to wake up setup as the standalone primary monitor?

i will test it as you suggest.

but i hope thats not the solution.

btw i was wondering if anyone knows if the power button led is meant to blink in standby?

According to the manual page 13, that state should be a glowing LED. I read that as blinking.

Just wondering I had this monitor now for ten days. I just realized I didn't buy extended warranty, is this something I can add?

Thanks
