Can't connect to specific WiFi network - Dell XPS 15

I'm running Windows 10 on a Dell XPS 15 with a Killer 1535 network adapter.

I have one specific WiFi network in my house that I cannot connect to. Other devices can connect to it and I am able to connect to other networks with my laptop.

When I attempt to connect to this network, the Network and Internet tab on my taskbar minimizes. I cannot "forget" this network as it never saves any connection information. Manually adding the network did not resolve the issue either.

I have tried uninstalling, rolling back, and updating my network adapter driver with no success.

Any suggestions as to how I may be able to fix this issue would be appreciated.

Same issue,

Adding some more detail on my problem:

The wifi connections list minimizes and instead of the wifi strength bar I get the symbol of the landline connection with a red X on it. then the wifi list returns and I get the can't connect to this network message.

FIXED

I had the same problem and fixed it by going to

1. device manager

2. click on network adapters

3. double click killer wireless...

4. click advanced

5. click wireless mode

6. select 01 - 11b in drop down list

7. click ok

Done!
