RAM

I opened up my Dell 3511 a while back to upgrade the RAM. I never removed the original stick, just added one. Does that void warranty?

It depends on the terms of the warranty offered by Dell. Some manufacturers void the warranty if the user opens the device and performs upgrades, while others do not. It's worth checking the warranty terms on Dell's website or contacting Dell support to find out whether upgrading the RAM in your Dell 3511 voids the warranty. Additionally, you should ensure that you follow the proper guidelines when upgrading the RAM, as any damage caused by improper installation may also void the warranty.
