Will DDR3 32GB DIMM QUAD RANK stays at 1333Mhz in R710?
I am going to upgrade my old R710 with 6 x 32GB DIMMs, so 3 on each CPU, total 6 DIMMS.
A1 A2 A3 & B1 B2 B3 in optimized mode with three channels.
My question is what's going to be the frequency of the DIMMs? 1333Mhz or 1066Mhz?
Thanks.

My friend had a chance to perform the testing and here are the results.
1. 1066Mhz with 1DPC at 1.35v (PC3L RAM)
2. 800Mhz with 2DPC at 1.5v (PC3L RAM)

You can refer "System Memory" section on page 129 of below link for details. As per this youu memory will operate with 1067MHz
For quad-rank memory modules: • One memory module per channel supports up to 1067 MHz.

Thanks but that PDF is outed. For example, with the latest BIOS, I was able to put 2 Dimms of 8GB Ram per channel and maintain 1333Mhz and 1.35V Low Voltage
So my questions are, with the latest BIOS
1. Will 32GB Quad Rank 1DPC (1 Dimm Per Chanel) maintain 1333Mhz?
2. Will 32GB Quad Rank 2DPC (2 Dimms Per Chanel) maintain 1333Mhz? or 1067Mhz?

I'm afraid we do not have a doc that contains recent information. We will need to wait around to hear from someone who actually has experienced this. Sorry I can't be of help this time.

Thanks.
Anyway, I did some more research and I believe if just 1 piece of 32GB DIMM per channel, 3 channels per CPU, total 6 pieces of 32GB RAM does give you 1333Mhz speed.
