iDRAC license lost

After a long power outage, the accountant decided to turn on the server on her own.
After pressing the button "i" and holding it for a little longer, she reset the settings iDRAC along with the license.
How can I restore it now? The server was purchased in 2014. Service Tag <Service Tag was removed>.

Hi

I went to use my Idrac and the license is not there.

I am kind of going in circles trying to get this resolved.

We too have lost our enterprise license due to noobs messing with the server. How can we recover this?

We purchased the R720 used from a third party.

Heya. 

Yes, I have checked the DL but our licence is not there. As mentioned, we purchased the machine from a third party. Ownership transfer has failed so far as we have not had a reply for over a month. If you could please give me an email address I could send the machine code to, perhaps we can get this sorted out..

Thank you. In order for us to resend an iDrac license you would need to verify ownership, since you bought it 3rd party that can be difficult. So if you don't know the name of the previous owner then you would need to complete the change of ownership form.
I haven't seen that with the change of ownership process before, so let me verify a couple things.
Did you perform the steps outlined here, specifically the ebay/amazon/3rd party process? If not then it likely never processed. I would recommend going through the guide and do the transfer as stated for the 3rd party vendors there, after that then private message us the svc tag and company name you transferred it to, and then we can resend the license (if available).

Also, the transfer can take several days to process.
