Windows Update optional update takes out PowerEdge R7525
Last night windows update offered me some updates and an optional AMD update. I assume it was the one called:
Advanced Microdevices Inc - SecurityDevices 5.17.0.0
This took out my machine with a hard hang as soon as it tried to install. Each boot the machine hung within a minute of so from boot.
I had to update idrac for it to recognize the errors:
PST0210 A high-severity issue has occurred at the Power-On Self-Test (POST) phase which has resulted in the system BIOS to abruptly stop functioning.
I believe the post code was 0x2D but can't see that now.
I had to clean install the OS to get this working again. Rollback didn't work for me or even a system image.

I'm having the same problem with a PowerEdge R7515
I'm not sure if that update was applied but I'm receiving the same error

I am installing Windows 10 Pro.
The same problem occurred twice.
What is the problem?
Does anyone know?

Hello thanks for choosing Dell and welcome to our community.
Dell does not support using a PC OS for a server model.
