Is there a recommendation from Dell on which SRDF compression to turn on….software/hardware/none/both?

This is what I got internally: 

There is no benefit to enabling compression with SRDF/S.  With synchronous replication, SRDF replicates on a per write basis so compression has no effect.  For SRDF/A, it is not recommended to enable software compression if the array already has hardware compression.  Software compression can help if there is limited link bandwidth between sites, but will consume additional CPU cycles.
