MD3200 time sync problem

My MD3200 shows a popup indicating a time synchronization error.  If I ask it to synchrozine, I get a "could not communicate" error.

But, communication seems to work well in all other operations. The array is reported as optimal & I can view hardware, save the configuration, view the log etc. The log shows a power supply problem that has resolved itself. Windows has no issues accessing the data either.

What is the reason I cannot sync the time, and how can I fix this ?

Hi,

If the clocks on the Controller are not synchronized, the real time clock(RTC) may also be an issue. It will not prevent the normal operation of Storage. If possible you can update the firmware first. You can check if there is a change by removing the battery on the controller and waiting for 2 minutes and plugging it back in. pg 214 https://dell.to/3wHU6c9

Hope that helps!

Erman,

Thank you for the pointers. What is the latest firmware available for MD 3200?  I have the following on both controllers. Is there a newer version, and if so can you provide a link?

    Current Package Version: 08.20.24.60
    Current NVSRAM Version: N26X0-820890-008
