MS Office operation in Vista OS
After Vista OS failure/salvage (W/O reinstall of OS) MS Office requests Product Key. I bought coputer in 09 with software installed from Dell and don't recall receiving or have lost Office Key. I have the computer Key but it is no help. I also have all paperwork demonstrating the Dell Purchase. Assistance?

As you haven't reinstalled the OS. Have you tried running Belarc Advisor to see if it gives you your Office 2007 product key?

Is there a sticker on your computer, that has a MS product key? I think they used to include it there if you bought office pre installed.

The sticker attached to the computer will be the Vista sticker and not the Office one.
