Crowdstrike agent in Secure Connect Gateway

Spoiler

Hello,

We are trying to install the Crowstrike agent (Falcon sensor EDR ) in the SCG Virtual appliance (SUSE 12 SP5 with SCG version 5.14.00.12).

The agent is supported in SUSE12 but I am getting the attached error (missing the "libnl" library).

Has anybody tried to install Crowstrike on this appliance?

Fer_SysAdmin,

While I lean to it not being supported, I would suggest that you call in and work with the OpenManage/SysManagment team, so they can work directly with you to get it operational, if possible.

Let me know if this helps.

I had this problem as well.  (And Google brought me to this post)

Please post back here if you have any luck, and I will do the same.  I will reach out to Crowdstrike through my cybersecurity colleagues.

This issue wasn't the end of the world for me, so I ignored it for a long while.

Worked with Crowdstrike for a little bit - collect logs, bla bla bla.  No joy.

Anyway, what I found is that SecureConnectGateway does not have any of the official SUSE repositories enabled.  So, since Crowdstrike requires libnl, and the official repo's are not reachable (because they are not enabled) it won't install because it cannot pull down libnl.

Is there a fix for this yet?
