retail tag detected
what does retail tag detected mean? i run full diagnostic of my laptop to make sure my laptop is performing well and nothing is wrong with the hardware but it pops up in red saying, retail tag detected and to register m product.

Just got an alienware m16 (2023) from best buy marked as open box excellent condition and just got the same messgae when trying to register my product.
my best guess is that the retail tag means the computer itself was a demo/floor model… which makes sense because the battery on my m16 lasts less than 2 hours and i currently am unable to load mostly anything on the computer at all. Here is the problem I’m having: https://youtu.be/7At3-KfzyuU
