Hi everyone,
Due to a wrong initialization I'm trying to use the RASR tool to reset factory a VxRail E660F node.
In the past I already did it on another vxrail model but here I can't find any Internal SD card or port with the RASR tool at the Boot menu.
Is there any other way like making a bootable USB key or anything I'm missing?
Thanks for helping.

Thanks Lex,
Boot into the bash:
prepare iDRAC console to host
Put host into maintenance mode
Reboot host
During boot, press F11 in iDRAC console
select "one-shot boot menu
select [Hard Drive] internal SD-iDSDM
Press alt + F2 to load into the bash shell.
try the following commands to make sure it is installed properly
change the working directory to /mnt/RASR/release with the command "cd mnt/RASR/release"
Run the command "cat esxtmp.tar.* | tar tvf - | grep -i recoverybundle"
If that doesn't help. You can get the image from https://dell.to/3ENs6YP if you login.

Hi,
Thanks for your question. Which version of Vxrail are you using? The instructions are slightly different for each version.
Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Hi,
Same problem with E660F, no Internal SD card. It's visible if the host is in "maintenance mode" ? How put the host into maintenance mode ?

Hello jtaverneKD,
Here are a couple of links to kb’s that explain how to put a node in maintenance mode. https://dell.to/3mxvIZj

How can I select [Hard Drive] internal SD-iDSDM on E660F? Here isn't SD card.
E660 does not have IDSDM.
Mount RASR ISO image as iDRAC virtual DVD and Boot the node from virtual DVD.
You can write images from virtual RASR ISO DVD to BOSS device directory.
