Inspiron 15R 5537

Win 7 Pro x64

I have found and installed the Dell Wireless 1705 WLAN adapter driver

So far, unable to locate the following drivers

Ethernet Controller

  • PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&SUBSYS_05E91028&REV_07
  • PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&SUBSYS_05E91028
  • PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&CC_020000
  • PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&CC_020

SM Bus Controller

  • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C22&SUBSYS_05E91028&REV_04
  • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C22&SUBSYS_05E91028
  • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C22&CC_0C0500
  • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C22&CC_0C05

USB Controller

  • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C31&SUBSYS_05E91028&REV_04
  • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C31&SUBSYS_05E91028
  • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C31&CC_0C0330
  • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C31&CC_0C03

  • USB\VID_0BDA&PID_0129&REV_3960
  • USB\VID_0BDA&PID_0129

These drivers exist for Windows 8, but I cannot find any of them for Windows 7. The Ethernet controller is the priority for me.

Ethernet controller should be a Realtek RTL8106E

8 Krypton

Drivers can be found here

Make sure to install the drivers in the correct order How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

All of those drivers are for Windows 8, I need Windows 7 Pro.

But I did find the driver for the NIC:

I also need the drivers for the Fn keys. I Downloaded the windows 8 version of quickset and I can use Fn+F2 to turn the wifi on and off, and I can adjust the volume with F11 and F12.. but the brightness will only go up or down one notch, and the touchpad won't turn off at all.

You need the Intel Chipset and Intel Management Interface. Try installing the following 2 drivers from Intel:

If not try the drivers from the Inspiron 5437:

You also need the Realtek Card Reader from the Inspiron 5520:

For the Ethernet RTL8106E you can take the Windows 7 Driver from the Inspiron 5437:

You can try the Windows 7 Synaptics Touchpad Driver from the Inspiron 5437:

The other problem is Dell Quickset which unfortunately Dell lock to certain systems and Operating Systems. You can try the Windows 7 Quickset from the 5437  but likely it will say unsupported system.

I Need Driver Win 8.1 For Dell Inspiron Audi A4 5420

M$ releaded win 8.1. I checked my_service tag but i can't find driver for win 8.1
When @dell update driver for win 8.1?

3 Argentum

You can use the same Win 8 driver for Win 8.1. If you find WB64A in the OS version you can go ahead and choose the driver.. WB64A means Windows Blue (A) Windows 8.1
