ThinOS 9.3 Webbrowser
Hello,
we are depoying a bunch of new Optiplex 3000TC in our organization and want to allow users to get to our Self-Service-Password-Reset-Website before they login.
Current ThinOS 2211 (9.3.3099) is deployed and clients are in "modern desktop" mode.
Is there an option to do this?
We are using RDP-Connections so there I don't see any opportunity to implement it on the logoin screen of Windows Server without deactivating NLA - or am I wrong?
Thnaks for your ideas and kind regards
Chris

The requirements for DHC are posted in the admin guide.
https://dl.dell.com/content/manual27551292-dell-hybrid-client-version-2-0-administrator-s-guide.pdf?language=en-us&ps=true
DHC info is available here, https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/dell-hybrid-client/docs
The recommended minimum for DHC 2.0 is 64 GB, you may be able to get away with 32 as a test, but certainly not for production.
For Opti3k, there is an ISO you can use to convert the device using a USB flash drive
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/optiplex-3000-thin-client/drivers
You can use RUFUS to create a USB flash drive with the ISO image
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=gc9yr&oscode=udhc&productcode=optiplex-3000-thin-client
As DHC is a subscription OS designed to be used with WMS Pro, you will want to have WMS Pro with DHC licenses available if you want to fully test it. WMS Evals can be registered for here, https://wysemanagementsuite.com/dhcgateways.aspx

There is no option at this time. If you want to switch OS to Dell Hybrid Client (DHC) that will have browser choices.

thank you for the answer. Do you know if it is legal and possible to convert ThinOS-Clients with 32GB storage drive to a Dell Hybrid Client? Is there a tutorial?
I already googled it but did not find a solution.
Thanks and kind regards
Chris
